Athena post op

Athena came through okay. Arrived home drunk on painkiller and very confused, although happy to see everyone. Lab reports next week to see if they got everything.

 It has been a brutal year or two on the old girl. She slowed down a lot after the major surgeries in 2011. This was less extensive, but she's in a significant amount of pain. She's curled up on the pillows, my jacket over her, John and Fiona's dog Piper by her side. Going to be a rough few days.

She's got a hell of a wound in her leg, but they were trying for big margins. She's in good spirits.
